Our courses are modular - a course module is a self-contained learning event. This means you can buy a whole course or a range of modules from across different subjects. Modules can be assigned to individual students alone or to individuals in a group. We also offer intermediary level business briefs and introductory level Knowledge Keys.
As well as having self-explanatory titles and numbers relating to their course subjects, modules are coded according to the Faculty school they belong to. For example, if you purchase course BS200 Strategic Business Competencies, you will be buying modules:
|
 |
 |
 |
BS201 Creating Strategic Financial
Plans |
 |
BS202 Corporate Valuation |
 |
BS203 Bettering your Competitors |
|
| |
The code
(BS) shows that each module belongs to the Faculty of Business Strategy,
and the number denotes the order in which the modules have been designed
to be taken (1-2-3). This index system is the same throughout our course
range. |
| Find and view courses |
 |
To view our detailed course list
click on the 'Find more courses' button on the main menu. You can now browse
our main course list, which will be set out according to Faculty and course
number. By clicking on a course title you will find: |
| |
 |
 |
who the course or module is designed
for |
 |
what objectives are set |
 |
what practical skills and knowledge students
will receive by completing it |
 |
the typical duration of the course or module
and |
 |
how much the course or module costs |
|
| You can also recommend
the details of a course you are interested in to a friend or colleague.

| Save to Locker |
| |
Whilst
viewing our courses and modules, much like a conventional online shopping
basket facility, you can choose to buy them there and then or save them
to a storage area to be reviewed at a later date. The 'save to locker' facility
enables you to review saved items and decide whether you want to purchase
them, in whatever quantity, or choose to remove them from storage. |
 |
| Assign |
| |
When
you have found a course and selected a module to be taken by individual
users or a group of users, click on the 'Assign' button on the main
menu and decide which users or groups will be taking it.
Please note that the number of copies you have purchased of a module
limits the number of copies you can assign to a group. For example, if you
have 30 copies of a module and 30 members of a group, you can assign each
member of the group a copy of the module. However, if you have 30 copies
of a module and a group with more than 30 members you will be asked to purchase
the outstanding number of copies. Conversely, if you inadvertently assign
30 copies of a module to fewer than 30 users you will have and be aware
of the number of copies remaining.
